Another really fun day yesterday. Spent the afternoon hanging out with a friend of mine hiking in Stone Mountain Park. Not so much a hike as it was a series of short walks, but it was still a nice day to be outside. Warm temps, clear sky's and the tree leaves were such beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow.

We also found this wonderful little German themed restaurant/bar that had good beer and these huge home cooked Reuben sandwiches. Great food and just a nice place to spend an hour or so sipping cold beer. It helped to relieve the tension that had built up driving in down town Atlanta earlier in the day.

The dance last night was so much fun right from the start. It was a bit of a costume party to begin with so quite a few people showed up all decked out and the group in charge of the dance wrote and performed a little skit based on a fairy tale which was just a hoot to watch.

The actual danced started right after the skit  with the Latter Day Lizards playing and Lisa Greenleaf calling. It started out rocking and just built from there. Five full lines of whirling, happy people, smiling and having a good time. The night just seemed to fly by way to fast. The Lizards are an amazing group of musicians often sounding as if there were way more than the 4 guys in the band up on stage. This was perhaps one of the better dances, out of many great dances, that I've been too in a long time.

I stayed around for a little while after the regular dance to watch a bit of the techno dance afterwards. But to tell the truth my feet were to tired, as was the rest of me, to do any more dancing. So it was back to the trailer after that and a couple aspirin and a good nights sleep.

One last note from the day; finally had someone from the WiFi service I had ordered call me back and finally give me an access code for the service. Sounds good right, but when I plugged the code in and finally got the web to come up I found that the signal is so poor that you might as well not be on it to begin with. Oh well, the good news is that they did refund me $4 out of the $12 for the two days I had already missed, so not to much wasted money.
