Just finished up the last dance of the weekend here in Orlando. Like many 3-day dances this afternoon one seemed to be some of the best dancing of the weekend. Still not really sure why that is. Have thought that it may be because we are all now use to dancing with each other and therefore more relaxed, or it could be that we are all so tired that we are just running on auto-pilot while being fueled with copious amounts of dopamine and adrenalin. What ever the reason it was a real hoot to spend a couple hours this afternoon dancing to George Marshall and Wild Asparagus.
Of course I am lucky in that I'll get to dance to them for a whole week on the island of St Croix. But that is still several weeks away and there is still another weekend dance, the Snow Ball, before that. Looking forward to that dance now as there are two bands playing it that I have never heard before. Of course they are both made up of these great musicians who have all played in one or more other bands before. So it should be a lot of fun to hear and dance to them next weekend over in Gulfport, Florida.
Looking forward to a bit to eat now and then a nice hot shower. After that it may actually be time for sleep. If nothing else it feels like a good nap is in the future. Right now it's time to eat some thing and start rehydrating.
