Still slowly moving north today. Followed the 'Blues Trail' up through Tallulah, La. and into Memphis. Recrossed the Mississippi River there for the last time today and started up I-55 towards St Louis. I'm about 150 miles south of that town at the moment and am tucked into yet another rest area for the night. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be in a real campground again with electricity and running water. Given how the temperature has now dropped into the low 50's this afternoon as the rain was coming down, it will feel good to be able to plug a heater in again. They say it will get down to somewhere in the 40's tonight for the low, but given that it was colder than that in Florida last week, this isn't too bad so far. Might have to put an extra blanket on the bed is all.
That's about it for the day. Most of the time it isn't all that interesting if all you do is drive all day. Would of been nice to get out of the truck for awhile along the way, but with the rain coming down that didn't seem all that appealing to me either. Hope the sun comes out tomorrow, even if the temperature stays low. Will just have to wait and see I guess.
