Spent most of today just hanging around the trailer. Read my book, listened to some music and did a little cooking. Also worked on the pictures I took yesterday down at the maritime museum. Some of those were posted earlier on in the post before this one.
Did manage to take the generator off the back trailer bumper and get it moved into the back of the pickup. Would love to have left it where it was, but frankly I'm not trusting enough that the bumper is going to stay on if it is loaded down like before. Perhaps one of these days when I have a chance to have it looked at again, and perhaps after it gets 'beefed up' a bit with some additional welded plates, but right now the idea of losing it in the middle of the highway and having someone plow into it doesn't sound like something one should chance.
Went and did a little grocery shopping late this afternoon. Had run out of milk and banana's and also needed to pick up some celery. Decided to go to a store east of here and spend a little more time looking at the scenery and the leaves that are really starting to change color now. It started to rain on the way back to the trailer and has continued to do so since then. I'm getting tired of the rain.
Will be packing up and leaving in the morning. The weather report says that it should be clear by then so maybe I'll get lucky and not have to pack up in the rain. I'm headed south to Littleton Massachusetts, just north of Concord, and the 'Boston Minuteman Campground there. Plan to spend a week exploring that area, Boston and maybe even some of the Salem area over on the coast. Also hope to go to the Concord contra dance next Monday and next Thursday nights. Then on Friday I'll head over to Mashpee Mass. for the start of a 3-day contra dance there. Really looking forward to doing some dancing again. It has been a bit frustrating only planning dances and hearing about other people going to dances. I'm ready to dance!!!!..... but first, some sleep.
